Not pretty pink rock: precision-carved crystalline lattices of halite blended with hysterons. Halite will hold a vibrational pattern if you build the lattice precisely enough; Myaknju worked out how precisely, and paired it with acoustic resonance and some rather nifty nanoscale tuning.
The result picks up history, not just heat.
He is also the Audible Enclave embedded in a lamp’s base — which is why a lamp can whisper rather than merely play back, and why it answers the room it is in instead of reciting into it.
In person: a thin, wiry man, Nandini’s silent companion, whose watchful eyes seem to take in everything while revealing nothing. He moves with deliberate precision, arranging objects in patterns that seem random and are not.
