Why a memory game
Salt Lamps do not hold testimony the way a hard drive holds a file. A lamp that nobody lights goes quiet, and what it held goes with it. Across the network the lamps fell silent in 2073 and stayed silent for two years. The data had not been deleted. There was nobody left repeating it.
